Pic-a-Pix

I love this puzzle. Its fun to play, easy to pause, and lets you check for errors free before youve completed the whole puzzle. Its relaxing, since theres no timer. And their are enough levels so you can be challenged as well. They also have very prompt, courteous and helpful customer support.

Excellent puzzle app

I have been playing these puzzles for a while now and love the app. I rarely spend money on additional packs for any app, but I have purchased several of these because I really enjoy the product. Even without the in-app purchases, there are easy level free weekly updates (I just play too often to wait)

Puzzles are Great

Puzzles are great but controls are too annoying, deleted and downloaded a different app.

pls

Please make an option to remove the cursor and just tap to place.

Good app; extremely costly, though

Buyer beware: you could end up spending thousands of dollars on Conceptis applications. Read on for details. This review includes the eight applications published on the iOS app store by Conceptis (Nurikabe, Tic-Tac-Logic, Link-a-Pix, Pic-a-Pix, Hashi, Sudoku, Slitherlink, and Fill-a-Pix). First off, their applications are well built and include many fun puzzles. I especially enjoy the weekly free puzzles, though it is a little irritating that they go away after four weeks and are not saved. However, the biggest problem—and Ive noticed this mentioned in some reviews for these applications—is the high cost of puzzles. They are well done and fun, but when the costs are summed, they are rather high. There are 31,380 puzzles total (as of today) across the eight applications, ranging from very simple to rather complex, which would cost you a total of $3511 (not including tax). This is on par with the cost of licenses for professional-level applications. I think its quite disingenuous of Conceptis to charge so much for the puzzles. When averaged (across all 8 applications for the entire range of puzzles), they total just over 15 cents/puzzle. That may not sound like much, but it can add up quickly. To contrast this, LogicPicColor, an iOS app like Pic-a-pix, has 16,778 total puzzles which cost a total of $30 (plus tax), averaging at a third of a cent per puzzle, about 50 times less than those from Conceptis. Now, LogicPicColor has some shortcomings and is not nearly as well done as the apps from Conceptis. Nonetheless, I dont believe Conceptiss apps and puzzles are worth that much of a premium, and will therefore be satisfied to look elsewhere. Perhaps someday theyll offer sales or discounts for puzzle bundles—ever since the apps were released, Ive hoped for this, to no avail.

Played this type of game by others - Nintendo DS

And the directions were easy and simple. "Touch the spot you want this color". The directions on this game (silly me, I tried to do it the easy way like on the others) are convoluted to the point that I do not understand why they are so complicated and how the others figured out how to do it. And I am the one who always helps others with their questions on directions. And because I do like these type of games so much, I purchased the additional $4.99 pack of color ones. Thats $4.99 already deleted off of my computer. Go with Picross or Color Cross and you also get a lot more for your money. Live and learn.

Great game. Needs Game Center support

I love this game. The only problem I have is that when I complete a puzzle on my phone, it is not marked complete on my iPad. If the status could be synced via Game Center that would be prefect.

Love it

I love this so much. There is a weekly puzzle and the whole game itself is fun to relax to after a stressful day.
