Pic-a-Pix: Nonogram Color App Reviews

Dont buy extra games!

I love this app and would be giving it five stars except for one big problem: After enjoying all the free puzzles, and even though the extra packs are expensive, I paid for and downloaded one of the jumbo color packs - no problem. However, when I finished those and tried to buy another jumbo color pack, it did not download, and when I tried to end the transaction, I not only didnt get the second pack I was trying to buy, but it wiped out the first jumbo pack I bought, which I could have played again. I wrote to the company several times, but no reply. If theyd like to respond and fix this problem, Ill be happy to change my rating.

Enjoyable Escape

Fun to work out the pictures. Glad they can be replayed. New groupings are too expensive. Would be nice to earn free games after playing so many.

Amazing

Its one of the best games ever. But I do wish there were more free packs

Awesome puzzle

I love these puzzles ...cant get enough of them. Use you brain to think of were each square goes....love it...keep them coming

Hours of Fun!

If you love logic puzzles combined with art, you will love these. I especially like the large, more difficult color ones. Its so satisfying to see the picture revealed after hours of thought and calculation. The user interface has nice features such as error check, which tells you how many errors youve made, or shows the exact errors if you choose. I also love how it shows, with a touch, how many empty spaces are left between solved areas. The only improvements would be to allow filling of a square directly instead of first having to place the box curser over it and less expensive puzzle packages.

Nice version

Although I prefer the online conceptis site, this version of the conceptis puzzle is significantly less frustrating than similar styles. Im loving it!

Great fun.

Very addicting game. Love creating pictures with a little logic. So far Im still trying the easy ones but Im really enjoying it!

Pic a Pix

Great game. Love the challenge. Its the only game that gets me to buy new packages.

The only game to stay on my phone for more than a year

I just keep coming back to this game. Its elegantly simple, the controls are well designed for ease of use, and its a lot of fun.

Highly Addictive!

These games are so much fun and extremely addictive. I love watching a picture come to life as I figure out the puzzle. The colored are my favorite. The only issue I have is that Im playing these on an iPad mini and a lot of the puzzles I would like to play are so large that I cant read the numbers well enough. I wish there were more made for the iPad mini or that there was a way to enlarge sections of the puzzle as you work through it.

Great but could be better organized

I love this game but there are 2 things that would make the app just a little better. I only have an iPhone so some of the packs wont work for me so it would be nice if I could just hide the iPad ones, like a box that asks iPad phone or both. Also I am not sure how to reset a single pack at a time.

Best Nanogram Game!

You just dont get much for $5.99. But it is the best setup nanogram game out there! Need to run sales on packages!!

Addictive

Hours and hours of fun. Continuous availability of more puzzles. Particularly like the multi color puzzles.

Fun Fun Fun

Highly addictive and so much fun but brain and logic challenging as well. I love this app!!! Celena from Louisiana

Wonderful App -- especially the weekly updates

The weekly updates have been a really marvelous addition. The app is really well done and so much fun! The puzzles are of all difficulty levels, and its a great way to pass the time

Mario Picross on the iPad

If you remember playing it for the Gameboy download this game. Its worth the money. Ive spent probably 20 on map packs. The tough packs give me 30+ hours for 4 dollars each. One less cup of coffee gets me 30 hours of play. Im okay with that trade.

Getting less sleep at night

I have played this and "paint by numbers" for years on paper - cant get enough so I am thrilled to find this app!

Terrible Interface

Were you guys trying to invent the worlds most cumbersome interface? Every mark requires multiple gestures. First you have to line up the double rulers to frame the square, then touch once to fill it in, then a second time to block it out and then a third to clear it. On top of that there is no way to lock down what youve done so it is easy to accidentally change marks. Its a shame because Conceptus has high quality puzzles but there are much more usable nanogram apps on the store.

Paint with logic

Engages both hemispheres of the brain. Before you know it, half the day has flown.

Fun game that uses your brain

This is a fun and mildly addicting app, glad I got it. Once you work through the free sets of puzzles you still get one free one per week, and additional ones dont cost much. The difficulty ratings are hard on the ego though. "Medium" ones are pretty hard...would hate to see a hard one...
