Liked the app, HATED the interface

I have absolutely no idea why they insisted on this interface, when it was clear that it was extremely annoying to use in the other app. There is absolutely no reason why should need to move the cursor first, then tap to click. It is extremely slow, counterintuitive, and induces carpal tunnel.
